A complete three-dimensional figure
A full-body figurine can be viewed from different sides. It needs enough reference information to establish clothing, pose and structure. Standard cartoon figures start with a clear complete frontal photo; realistic humans use four views. Thin parts must connect safely to the model.
A shallow relief
A relief keeps a photograph’s composition within a raised surface. It can work with a half-body portrait or a close family photograph. One to three subjects is recommended. Resin frames, wooden frames, charms and badges use different thicknesses, text rules and fittings.
3D relief vs full body figurine
If the only available image is a close portrait, choose a relief review rather than assume missing legs can be reconstructed. If you want a figure visible from the sides, choose the full-body format and provide the required references. The two processes have different geometry and preparation requirements.
