A file-based service
Our OBJ full color 3D printing intake uses the matching OBJ, MTL and a single merged JPG texture. A textured OBJ printing service needs the color references to remain intact. We review single-person and single-pet models; multi-subject projects require individual confirmation.
Prepare a print ready figurine model
Build a watertight 3D model for printing with no holes, overlapping interiors or unintended hollow areas. The documented single-model limit is 500,000 faces. For 3D printing minimum wall thickness, use at least 2 mm and keep connections sturdy. Cartoon models use at least 4K textures; realistic portraits at least 8K.
What happens after upload
The archive checker looks for the required files and unsafe paths. The actual mesh, texture, requested scale and material still need review. Custom full color resin printing is quoted only after that assessment. We do not claim that a ZIP file has been repaired or printed automatically.

What does the OBJ MTL JPG printing service check?+
The intake checks one OBJ, one matching MTL and one merged JPG, consistent base names, the OBJ mtllib reference and the MTL map_Kd texture reference. It also counts faces and checks the texture dimensions. Mesh solidity, orientation, wall thickness and actual manufacturing feasibility still need review.
What is required for 4K texture cartoon 3D printing?+
The website intake uses a JPG texture of at least 4096 pixels on both sides for a cartoon model review. For 8K texture portrait 3D printing, it uses at least 8192 pixels on both sides. These conservative intake checks do not replace review of the model’s actual texture mapping and print quality.
